PIE is Grant Community School's Parent Group. If you have a child at Grant and would like to be more involved PIE is an excellent place to begin. PIE meets on the first Tuesday of every month in the Grant School Library.
PIE es el club de padres de La escuela Comunitaria de Grant. Si Ud. tiene un hijo/a quiene asiste a Grant y Ud. desea colaborar más con su escuela, PIE es un lugar excelente para empezar. PIE se reune el premer martes de cada mes en la biblioteca de Grant.

La próxima reunión de PIE sería el martes que veine - el 1 de noviembre a las 6:30 de la tarde. Para los interesados en las cosas más técnicas de la educación, también hay una reunión con el director y el equipo del Site Council este día antes de la reunión de PIE a las 6pm.
The next PIE meeting will be held on Tuesday Nov 1 at 6:30 pm. For those interested in the more technical aspects of education at Grant, the PIE meeting will be preceded by the Site Council meeting a 6pm led by Mr. Wisner. |

PIE has been working hard all year to support the students and families here at Grant. As we plan for next year, there is still the need for volunteers to fill some vacant positions:
Co-President - Our current co-president Amador Aguilar has served as president of PIE for several years. We are currently looking for a parent to share this position next year with Angela Alcantar.
Co-Fund Raiser. Duties: Coordinates all fundraising activities of Grant PIE; presents regular updates at PIE meetings; researches fundraising opportunities; delegates as necessary.
Cultural Club/Activities Officer. Duties: Promotes activities to recognize and encourage parents, teachers, staff, students, and community partners to work together in social and cultural events.

PIE ha trabajado mucho este año para apoyar a los estudiantes y a laas familias de Grant. Los planes desarrollan para el año que viene y aún se necesita voluntarios para dos puestos.
